Remember that you must be able to make a connection between two similar words in the dictionary. You will also be asked to write an essay that compares two or more definitions of the same word.In the essay sample sections, you will be asked to create a story and relate it to one of the story themes. All of the essay samples arecomposed using historical events, scientific and medical terms, medical texts and cartoons.Most of the AP English Exams are given in the English classroom. Your teachers will read your essay samples out loud before you read them. If you are a bit nervous about writing an essay or reading it, it would be a good idea to have someone else read the sample.
